Caudron received the A.A., North Idaho College, B.A., Colorado State University, M.A., University of Georgia, Ph.D., Northwestern University in 2000, and began teaching at Northwestern that year. She specializes in Buddhism, especially Mahayana, and teaches Religion in Human Experience, Introduction to Hinduism, Introduction to Buddhism, and Studies in Buddhism: Buddhist Meditation-Theory and Practice. Her dissertation is A Guide to Skillful Means: Reexamining the Netti-Pakarana's Modes and Methods. She wrote the introduction and a chapter in Bomyun Sarajinda (Greed, Anger, and Confusion Disappearing By Mindfulness), Jeongshinsekeyas, Seoul, 2001. She teaches meditation privately.
